Poem: God is the arbiter of cosmic torture

When I finally reach the pearly gates

I’m going to look the man upstairs square in the face

And say

“When I was born, I was born lonely

I didn’t choose this life.”

- why is it that we must assume responsibility for this terrible thing called existence even though we didn’t choose it and how in the hell am I supposed to believe that I could be held responsible for sins I committed during a life I didn’t choose. Aka Christianity is cruel punishment and God is the arbiter of cosmic torture
